At some point, I ended up finding the wikipedia page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies.

I’m reading through this list and realizing, “holy shit, I do all of these all the time”. Ad Hominem, Non Sequitur, Slippery Slope, Appeal to Ignorance, Straw Man. Why the hell have I never been taught how to think logically?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallacy describes a fallacy as a “wrong move” in an argument or statement. If your statement consists of or is fully composed of fallacy, it is heavily flawed often illegitimate. Now that I am aware of the element of logic, I can identify nonsense and they have vocabulary to describe them.

Why have I not learned about philosophy and logic in primary school?

Why have I not learned about emotional intelligence in primary school?

Why is emotional intelligence not taught with philosophy and logic?

I can provide rhetorical questions for days but in the end, I can’t answer any of them and I find it frustrating.

I don’t know why we do not learn these in primary school.

The title of this site is Metaphilosophy and Genuinity. Metaphilosophy is the discussion of philosophy as a concept and how the logic works. Genuinity is an illegitimate word that I use to define genuine intent. I believe that you can not have effective communication using philosophy without genuinity.
